 Rest in peace Craig Breen.  Hi. I got an amazing opportunity thanks to Dino Antonelli to make the default skin for his new car model of the 2023 Hyundai i20 Rally1. Both Neuville and Lappi versions with the late Irishman's tribute livery will be available in the car folder when it gets released. Thanks to Dino for great work on the car.  I can't provide you with a download link just yet but you can enjoy this preview of how the car will look when it's released.  Neuville: Cockpit:  I kindly ask you not to ask when this car (or any other car) gets released with NGP physics. As far as we all know, Workerbee has the Rally1 physics in his lab but we will not know if/when they get released. So don't ask out of respect to the voluntary work of modders.

2021 was a year of highs and lows for Teemu Suninen. Starting off with a SS1 crash in Monte Carlo started a snowball effect which gradually led to him being replaced by Adrien Fourmaux at M-Sport's WRC roster. Undeniable highlight of the year was his home rally, the newly rebranded Secto Rally Finland. He entered the rally with Printsport's Polo R5 with the backing of a Finnish businessman Markku Rautio.  He well and truly delivered a brilliant performance, winning WRC2 comfortably over the competitors like Mads Östberg, Emil Lindholm and Nikolay Gryazin.  In the pictures here you see him on SS1, resulting in 7th best time in WRC2, 1.56,0. Differently to the usual schedule, the Harju stage was driven in the middle of the day on Friday and at night time on Saturday evening.  This result launched him into getting a seat at Hyundai's WRC2 team, and even getting into the WRC car for Rally Monza due to Ott's absence. Continuing with the same theme as the last post, Esapekka Lappi and the year 2012. Rally Germany was his first WRC event abroad, after entering into Rally Finland twice. It was also only his second tarmac event in his career. For this experience gaining trip he took part in the old trusty "keskoskaappi" with the Italian Vieffecorse team even though he had already transferred into the 4WD cars for the season.  The rally started at a steady pace, being 3rd in the FWD class after Leg 1, just 44 seconds from the leading Elfyn Evans. Evans would continue his strong showing on Leg2 and win the event and eventually the whole championship.   On leg2 things went not so well, as he went off halfway through the legendary 46km Panzerplatte stage and damaged the radiator, forcing him into superrally.  On leg 3 bad luck continued and he would be forced to retire on the last stage with mechanical issues.   This rally would eventually be his last one (so far) in a non-4WD ...

Hello everyone, it's been a long time. I come back with a new skin for the recent car addition to NGP7, the Hyundai i20 Rally2.   Teemu Suninen started his 2023 season with an outing in Sweden amongst one of the strongest WRC2 fields ever. After SS4 he was 3rd in class, but after that unfortunately some mechanical problems on ruined a promisingly started rally. After the disappointment of day 1 there was nothing to fight for and he finished 6th in WRC2. Another week, another Teemu Suninen skin. This is the skin from the last event of 2021 and his first WRC outing for Hyundai. In this rally he became the first and only Finnish driver to participate in a WRC rally in the 2017-spec Hyundai i20 WRC, in the last event it was possible to do.  The rally started on Friday a tad carefully for him, being 7th fastest on all 7 stages.  Understandable, when you have a one-time chance to shine without much previous experience of the car. Take into account the struggles of other drivers who drove the Hyundai on tarmac, even Sébastien Loeb, the car was clearly not an easy car to drive.  Despite that, the pace got better on saturday and sunday and he was able to post 2 top3 stage times, on SS10 San Fermo 2 and SS15 Serraglio 1. The finishing position was 6th, about half a second per kilometer behind the winners. Hello! Finally time for a Teemu Suninen skin. This is his 2016 Rally Finland car when he was driving for the French Team Oreca in the first generation Skoda Fabia R5.   2016 was a big make it or break it year for Suninen, with both eyes aimed at one of the few World Rally Car seats for the 2017 season. He drove the full WRC2 season with Team Oreca's Skoda Fabia R5 and managed to clinch 2nd position, on equal points with Elfyn Evans and only 10 points behind Esapekka Lappi. 3 wins and a few podiums caught Malcolm Wilson's eye and he earned himself a move to M-Sport, mainly in the WRC2 class plus two rallies in the Fiesta WRC in 2017. Overall 2016 was probably the most competitive WRC2 field to this date, with the likes of Lappi, Evans, Tidemand and Kopecky all fighting for wins, which made his results even more impressive.  In Rally Finland the fight for win was only between Suninen and Lappi. Hello everyone! It's time for a new season in rallying! New season always brings more car skins into the to-do list. First of them this year is the Rally3 Fiesta of Sami Pajari from the WRC season opener in Monte Carlo.   This rally was Sami's first 4WD rally outside of Finland and the 2nd overall in his career. Based on that, expectations were low and finishing the rally was the main priority. This year is very important for the 2021 Junior WRC winner, to show what he's made of.  He entered Monte in the WRC3 category with 3 other competitors. The rally started very cautiously on Thursday, him being 2nd in class but behind some local drivers in Rally4 FWD cars. The car became more familiar and the times were better. On the last 3 days, he was fastest in class on 10 out of 15 stages, resulting him in beating the Czech driver Jan Cerny by only 7 seconds at the end. Hello all! This time it's a bit different mod in here.  This mod replaces all advertisement boards on original stages with more up-to-date ones familiar from recent IRL rally events. Some are made up, some are as in real life. Hello! This is a special occasion, this is the first non-Finnish driver skin on my blog. It's the 91-year old gentleman from Poland, Sobieslaw Zasada, who participated in this year's Safari Rally and broke the record for the oldest competitor in a WRC rally.  The rally went very well from him until the Power Stage where he sadly broke the rear suspension of his Fiesta.  Main pictures taken on the fantastic SS Ubunapa Kabula stage by Tangoteam.  Hi! It took almost three months, but I got finally around to finishing this skin. It is the Citroen DS3 WRC of the F1 driver Valtteri Bottas who has been doing occasional outings on the rally side too.  The Arctic Rally 2021 was his 3rd year in a row where he competed on the snowy roads, and 4th rally in total. He finished in 6th position overall, only losing roughly a respectable 1 second per kilometer to Juho Hänninen in a Toyota Yaris.   Note: The car folder name is different for Rallysimfans plugin and RBRTM plugin users.  Hello all again!  It's time for another Lindholm skin after his solid performance in the WRC3 category in Rally Croatia. The Finn achieved a 2nd place finish in a competitive field of cars. The only drawback in his whole race was a puncture on SS2 which set him back about 40 seconds and ultimately giving some breathing room for Kajetanovic.  > > > DOWNLOAD < < < Note: I'm aware that GRR-skin has published this skin too here .
