Hello everyone, it's been a long time. I come back with a new skin for the recent car addition to NGP7, the Hyundai i20 Rally2.   Teemu Suninen started his 2023 season with an outing in Sweden amongst one of the strongest WRC2 fields ever. After SS4 he was 3rd in class, but after that unfortunately some mechanical problems on ruined a promisingly started rally. After the disappointment of day 1 there was nothing to fight for and he finished 6th in WRC2.  Hi! I'm continuing with the MRF theme, it was easy to edit this one after last week's Huttunen skin. Being out of the WRC he got a call-up from the MRF team to drive their car in the first 3 ERC events of the season.  Unusual 2021 ERC season started very late only in June with the 100th anniversary of Rally Poland. The rally started with the double-car superspecial Mikolajki Arena 1, where he was 2nd fastest.  After 3 stages he was 3rd overall. On the next stage problems started and he eventually had to retire due to suspension breaking from 5th position at the end of day 1.  Continuing on the 2nd day with superrally, he was on the limit whole day and  was in the top3 on all stages, posting 3 fastest times.  On the rally ending Rally Poland 100th anniversary stage, commonly known to RBR players as Karowa, he posted a fastest time to finish the rally positively. < < < DOWNLOAD > > >

We can celebrate that with the skin of Jari Huttunen from last year's one-off ERC appearance for MRF team in the Barum Czech Rally Zlin.  Huttunen got a surprise call from the Indian tyre manufacturer to drive their car in the European Championship rally after the Irishman Craig Breen did the first 3 rallies of the season. Hello! Time for another Pajari skin to appear.  Last weekend Sami participated in the Lahti Historic Rally which is part of the European Historic Rally Championship. What made this event special, he had a famous finnish radio host and celebrity Janni Hussi as a codriver. Even though it started as a PR stunt, Janni managed her first codriving event very well.  The rally was a nice show of speed from an old car, as the pair managed to match some modern cars in speed with the Escort. Hopefully we can see this car in other events too in the future.  Sami and Janni won their class comfortably and finished 3rd overall in the rally, only behind Jari-Matti Latvala and Kari Kivenne who were driving much more powerful machinery, Celica ST165 and Audi Quattro A2.  Back with a bang! Just one proper picture this time but I made sure it's a good one :) Last weekend saw the debut of three promising Japanese drivers on Finnish rally roads. Yuki Yamamoto, Nao Otake and Hikaru Kogure all started their journey to the top of the rally pyramid in the Finnish championship event SM Pohjanmaa Ralli. They all drive equal Clio Rally4 cars provided by the TGS team. Yamamoto had the best debut, finishing 4th in the SM4 class. Another week, another Teemu Suninen skin. This is the skin from the last event of 2021 and his first WRC outing for Hyundai. In this rally he became the first and only Finnish driver to participate in a WRC rally in the 2017-spec Hyundai i20 WRC, in the last event it was possible to do.  The rally started on Friday a tad carefully for him, being 7th fastest on all 7 stages.  Understandable, when you have a one-time chance to shine without much previous experience of the car. Take into account the struggles of other drivers who drove the Hyundai on tarmac, even Sébastien Loeb, the car was clearly not an easy car to drive.  Despite that, the pace got better on saturday and sunday and he was able to post 2 top3 stage times, on SS10 San Fermo 2 and SS15 Serraglio 1. The finishing position was 6th, about half a second per kilometer behind the winners. With this result, he stepped a foot inside the Hyundai team and is poaching at the opportunity of getting a Rally1 drive in 202...

Hello! Finally time for a Teemu Suninen skin. This is his 2016 Rally Finland car when he was driving for the French Team Oreca in the first generation Skoda Fabia R5.   2016 was a big make it or break it year for Suninen, with both eyes aimed at one of the few World Rally Car seats for the 2017 season. He drove the full WRC2 season with Team Oreca's Skoda Fabia R5 and managed to clinch 2nd position, on equal points with Elfyn Evans and only 10 points behind Esapekka Lappi. 3 wins and a few podiums caught Malcolm Wilson's eye and he earned himself a move to M-Sport, mainly in the WRC2 class plus two rallies in the Fiesta WRC in 2017. Overall 2016 was probably the most competitive WRC2 field to this date, with the likes of Lappi, Evans, Tidemand and Kopecky all fighting for wins, which made his results even more impressive.  In Rally Finland the fight for win was only between Suninen and Lappi. Hello everyone! It's time for a new season in rallying! New season always brings more car skins into the to-do list. First of them this year is the Rally3 Fiesta of Sami Pajari from the WRC season opener in Monte Carlo.   This rally was Sami's first 4WD rally outside of Finland and the 2nd overall in his career. Based on that, expectations were low and finishing the rally was the main priority. This year is very important for the 2021 Junior WRC winner, to show what he's made of.  He entered Monte in the WRC3 category with 3 other competitors. The rally started very cautiously on Thursday, him being 2nd in class but behind some local drivers in Rally4 FWD cars. The car became more familiar and the times were better. On the last 3 days, he was fastest in class on 10 out of 15 stages, resulting him in beating the Czech driver Jan Cerny by only 7 seconds at the end. Hello all! This time it's a bit different mod in here.  This mod replaces all advertisement boards on original stages with more up-to-date ones familiar from recent IRL rally events. Some are made up, some are as in real life. I have other mods installed and didn't bother to uninstall those just for these pictures. This package includes only the advertisements and rally signs.  This mod also replaces all textures of stage marshall and media people. Hi! Thanks to the adding of the Skoda Fabia S2000 to NGP6 physics there is now lots of new Finnish skins to make. I decided to start with this one-off livery of Esapekka Lappi from Barum Czech Rally Zlin 2014. This was the 4th to last rally in his victorious season of 2014 in the European Rally Championship. He started the rally well, being in 2nd position only behind Kevin Abbring after 3 stages.  Unfortunately on the 4th stage he clipped a curb and the rear wheel got damaged and he couldn't continue.  Hi! Thanks to a couple of German simrallyists asking me to do this as well, here you go. It is the team-mate of Esapekka Lappi from the 2014 season, Sepp Wiegand.  2014 was the highlight year of Sepp Wiegand's career, finishing 2nd in the ERC with 4 podiums to his name, losing only to Lappi and leaving behind some big names like Craig Breen and Kajetan Kajetanovic.  All of his 4 podiums came in tarmac rallies. In Barum he managed to finish 2nd, equalling his season best position from the Circuit of Ireland rally.  In the rally he didn't set any top2 stage times but consistency and problems for other crews meant he would finish 2nd behind the local specialist Vaclav Pech.  > > > DOWNLOAD < < < As usual, extract the .7z package into the main RBR folder.

This time I created the skin of a promising Finnish rally driver, Nico Valkonen at his request.  He started the rally with a fantastic stage time on SS1 Kakaristo-Hassi, being 4th fastest in the overall Vetomies competition and fastest 2WD car by a whole 15 seconds. Hello! This is a special occasion, this is the first non-Finnish driver skin on my blog. It's the 91-year old gentleman from Poland, Sobieslaw Zasada, who participated in this year's Safari Rally and broke the record for the oldest competitor in a WRC rally.  The rally went very well from him until the Power Stage where he sadly broke the rear suspension of his Fiesta.  Main pictures taken on the fantastic SS Ubunapa Kabula stage by Tangoteam.
